- Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s safety management system, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify hazards and corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with preventive and corrective measures.
- Deliver safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics (KPI, LTIR, near misses) and submit regular reports to management.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices across all operations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and supervisors to integrate safety into daily activities.
- Establish emergency preparedness and response plans including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and first aid.
- Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders regarding safety compliance.
- Promote a strong safety culture by encouraging employee participation and reporting of unsafe conditions.
