Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor company safety policies and procedures in compliance with UAE and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees and contractors.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to develop safe work plans and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and records.
- Support emergency response planning and conduct drills.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and contractors regarding safety compliance and inspections.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, training, and report-writing skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety management systems.
