Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at construction sites, with preference given to candidates experienced in dewatering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, local authority requirements, and company safety policies
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and method statement reviews
• Monitor site safety practices and ensure proper implementation of safety controls
• Carry out regular site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare corrective action reports
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure all safety documentation, permits, and approvals are maintained and up to date

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction / dewatering projects
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, UAE safety regulations, and risk assessment procedures
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification (mandatory)
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently at site

Preferred Candidate:

• Experience working on UAE construction sites
• Immediate or short-notice availability
