Safety Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of lifting equipment (cranes, forklifts, industrial trucks, accessories), pressure vessels, and NDT.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, industry codes (BSEN LOLER, BS, ASME, ISO), and client specifications.
• Prepare and issue detailed inspection reports and certificates.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and ensure timely follow-up on non-conformities.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety evaluations related to lifting operations.
• Coordinate with Operations, HSE, and Maintenance teams regarding inspection schedules and findings.
• Identify and report defects or hazards, recommending corrective actions.
• Stay updated with industry standards and new inspection technologies.
• Conduct safety-related trainings (construction & industrial).
• Attend EIAC audits as required.

Requirements:

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inspection of lifting equipment & NDT.
• NDT Level 2 certification is mandatory.
• Strong command of English & Hindi (both mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and inspection reporting tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Driving license (advantage).
• Any safety/training-related certification (plus).
