Safety Engineer (Civil UPDA – Minimum Grade C)

Job Description:
Gulf Falcon Contracting Co. is looking for an experienced Safety Engineer with a Civil Engineering background and UPDA Certification (Minimum Grade C) to oversee and manage health, safety, and environmental aspects across our construction sites.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE standards, ensuring compliance with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), conducting safety inspections, preparing reports, coordinating with project teams, and promoting a safe working environment.

You will play a key role in preventing incidents, maintaining site discipline, and ensuring that all activities adhere to project safety plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• UPDA Civil Engineer Certification – Minimum Grade C (Mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in Qatar construction projects
• Strong knowledge of Qatar HSE laws, QCS, and international safety standards (ISO, OSHA, NEBOSH)
• Experience in preparing safety reports, method statements, and emergency plans
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under pressure
• Valid QID with transferable visa preferred
