SAFETY ENGINEER ( EHS)

M/s .HOnnvar Port Private limited has planning to Develop barge loading facilities at Honnavar Karnataka

As part of development ,HPPL appointed us a Project Management consultancy services for entire project via Civil Engineer with marine construction of jetty in all Civil and safety aspect

Your role will be Lead to EHS and assisting the Resident Project Manager in the following activities:

• Preparing OHS policy, implementation, Reviewing as per schedule and modification as per previous data.
• Arrange and facilitate for HSE audits as per schedule.
• Preparing the JSA/Risk assessment/ HIRA, Method statement for all critical activities.
• Assign the role &responsibilities to the HSE personnel for effective utilization.
• Ensure HSE mandatory requirements are implemented in all the work locations like Indin Factories act 1948 & BOCW act.
• Prepare preliminary and investigation report to identify the root cause of all incidents/accidents happened and planning for control measures.
• Organizing HSE Trainings & meetings with various departments, contractor staff and workmen.
• Analysing the reports of un-safe acts/conditions leading to re-occurrence hazards for application of Engineering /administrative controls.
• Ensuring of Safety committees Monthly meeting
• Ensuring site training and lecture mode trainings,
• Conducting safety promotional activities to achieve zero accident results,
• Equipment and vehicle inspection for Fitness.
• Arrangement and inspection of first aid facilities and required medicines.

Any bachelor's degree with relevant EHS diploma certificates with Marine Construction experience like Jetty. wharf , berth etc (Minimum 5 to 10 years) with overall project management control .
