What awaits you in this role?

• Working with Plant safety leader, follow local safety legislation, develop & update company safety procedures and standards,
• Identifying, developing, organizing and implementing occupational health and safety training,
• Developing, communicating and being part of the implementation of safety policies and procedures across the company,
• Reviewing equipment /machinery risk assessments provided by the suppliers to achieve safe machinery during design, installation and buy-off of new vehicle programs and launches,
• Involving in machinery risk assessment for the design, build, modification, commissioning and acceptance of machinery and equipment about safety items and providing expertise for interpretation and implementation of machinery safety standards in Ford Otosan facilities,
• Being part of risk assessment teams for new technologies.

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably focusing on Machine Safety Engineering).
• Advanced English proficiency (both verbal and written).
• Certified as a B-class (or higher) occupational safety professional.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational safety.
• Skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing Training & Development Management (T&DM).
• Certification and experience in machinery safety is preferred
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable in health and safety legislation.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Team-oriented with attention to technical details and the ability to develop company procedures.
