Description:
Daniels Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and elevate our safety culture across the Enterprise. This hands-on, data-driven role is key to reducing incidents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building a comprehensive safety training program from the ground up.

Develop and implement a comprehensive safety training program and policies aligned with OSHA and other regulatory standards

Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) documentation is current and accessible to all employees

Establish and lead a Workplace Safety Committee, ensuring member training, regular meetings, and oversight of incident reviews, inspections, and policy recommendations

Investigate incidents and analyze injury trends to uncover root causes and implement corrective actions that enhance workplace safety

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations throughout the plant

Ensure timely reporting and accurate recordkeeping of incidents, inspections, training, and regulatory submissions in compliance with applicable laws

Enhance emergency response protocols through EMT collaboration and regular drills to ensure readiness for medical and safety emergencies

Lead safety meetings, daily huddles, and awareness campaigns to reinforce safety practices

Foster a culture of safety through employee engagement, hazard reporting systems, and continuous improvement initiatives through partnerships across all departments at each subsidiary site

Conduct and document regular safety audits and inspections of equipment, workstations, and processes, ensuring timely resolution of identified hazards

Travel domestically to subsidiary sites–up to 25%
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of safety management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required

In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards required

Experience developing and implementing safety training programs required

Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills required

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred

Certification such as CSP or OSHA 30/500 preferred
