Safety Manager

SETEC is looking for a highly proficient and energetic candidate for the position of Safety Manager. The intended project is a railway system in Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia requiring a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 15 years’ total experience with 10 years’ experience in railway developments. Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers is mandatory. Prior experience in project management highly desirable, with chartered membership in professional organization related to project management and/or railway system engineering preferable.

The Safety Manager will be the lead for the following deliverables.

• Safety and Security Management System (SSMS),
• Engineering Safety Case Plan, and
• Safety and Security Management Plan (SSMP).

In addition, The Safety Manager shall also maintain safety assurance procedures which comply with the System Assurance Management Plan (SAMP) and the SSMS and SSMP noted above. The Safety Manager will also support development of the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability Study (RAMS) for all safety considerations. Another area for the Safety Manager will be to develop and maintain Safety Case Files for almost all rail assets (e.g., engineering, operations) and will coordinate with an independent Safety Assessor.
