As a Safety Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring occupational health and safety compliance across multiple client sites, fostering a culture of safety, trust, and practical solutions. Oversee safety programs for 45 client accounts, each with multiple project sites, ensuring consistent standards and responsive support.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors through effective communication and a solutions-focused approach.

Spend approximately 70% of work time in the field and 30% in the office.

Serve as the primary liaison for client accounts, building trust and driving continuous improvement in safety programs.

Identify opportunities for program enhancement, research best practices, and present practical solutions to ensure OSHA compliance within time, budget, and site constraints.

Review and provide guidance on site-specific safety plans and crane lift plans to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Conduct site inspections to identify existing and potential health and safety hazards, recommend corrective or preventive measures, and follow up to ensure implementation.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including daily inspection reports, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and incident reports.

Lead investigations of reported injuries, illnesses, and near-miss events, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.

Represent ESR in industry associations, community safety initiatives, and professional safety forums to promote best practices and strengthen partnerships.

OSHA 510 certification (required)

OSHA 500 certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire

25 years of construction experience (required)

5 years of field safety experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments (required)

Ability to travel up to 15% to support client sites

Strong ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Proficient in preparing routine reports and correspondence
