Safety Manager – Multi-Site Manufacturing Operations

A rapidly growing manufacturer is seeking a Safety Manager to lead health, safety, and compliance programs across three local facilities — a converting plant, a plastics manufacturing operation, and a warehouse.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a safety professional who thrives on visibility, influence, and continuous improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to shape safety culture, build programs from the ground up, and make a measurable impact as the company expands its footprint, adds automation, and brings new facilities online.

Key Responsibilities

· Own and enhance safety programs, procedures, and training across all sites

· Conduct audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

· Lead investigations, identify root causes, and drive preventive and corrective actions

· Partner with operations and maintenance leaders to embed safety into daily performance

· Track key safety metrics and present insights to plant and corporate leadership

· Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations

· Develop and lead emergency response plans and onboarding programs

· Be a visible, trusted safety presence across all facilities

Qualifications

· Degree or certification in safety, environmental science, or a related field preferred

· 3+ years of experience in EHS or safety management within manufacturing or industrial settings

· Strong understanding of OSHA standards and compliance frameworks

· Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

· Comfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on environments

· Skilled at building safety engagement and accountability at every level

· $85,000 – $120,000 annual base salary (based on experience)
