Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with legal regulations (Factories Act ,etc.).
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Lead safety training and awareness programs for workers, including emergency response and first aid.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and maintain proper documentation and reporting.
- Monitor safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, materials, and equipment used in paver block manufacturing.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure machines and tools are operated safely.
- Conduct fire drills, emergency preparedness sessions, and risk assessments regularly.
- Maintain safety audit reports, inspection checklists, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the plant complies with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety or Occupational Health and Safety (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Strong understanding of factory safety norms, risk assessment, and hazard control.
- Good communication and leadership skills to train and enforce safety protocols effectively.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance and safety certifications (if any).
