Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with legal regulations (Factories Act ,etc.).
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Lead safety training and awareness programs for workers, including emergency response and first aid.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, and maintain proper documentation and reporting.
• Monitor safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals, materials, and equipment used in paver block manufacturing.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure machines and tools are operated safely.
• Conduct fire drills, emergency preparedness sessions, and risk assessments regularly.
• Maintain safety audit reports, inspection checklists, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the plant complies with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety or Occupational Health and Safety (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Strong understanding of factory safety norms, risk assessment, and hazard control.
• Good communication and leadership skills to train and enforce safety protocols effectively.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance and safety certifications (if any).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
