Safety Officer

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer with experience in UAE and NEBOSH IGC certification to drive our QHSE initiatives.

Requirements:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
✔ NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory
✔ 3–5 years of safety experience in Dubai (marine industry preferred)
✔ Proven knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
✔ Experience implementing and maintaining QHSE systems and audits
✔ Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
✔ Strong command of Microsoft Office and QHSE tools
✔ Ability to lead safety training, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
✔ Strong problem-solving and incident investigation capabilities

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce QHSE policies and procedures
Lead safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across sites
Support and maintain ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001)
Monitor and report QHSE performance and incidents
Deliver safety training and awareness programs to teams
Liaise with authorities and ensure compliance with legal safety standards
Plan and coordinate internal meetings, drills, and emergency responses
Promote a proactive safety culture across all departments and project sites
Maintain all safety documentation, permits, and certifications
Assist with incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
