Safety Officer

Visit commercial and industrial buildings to inspect operations and procedures and ensure safety regulations are being implemented.

Investigate accidents and complaints and determine if there is a violation of health and safety law.

Conduct inspections of machinery, work environments and structures and take temperature and vibration measurements.

Take photographs and samples of fluids and materials used when necessary.

Provide workers with protective equipment such as ear protectors and glasses with appropriate types of clothing.

Investigate precautions taken to prevent industrial diseases.

Investigate work procedures in hazardous environments or potentially harmful materials.

Keep abreast of new legislation and health and safety standards.

Knowledge of developments in the industrial and construction sectors.

Provide specialized advice and information on health and safety procedures.

Supervise the preparation and preparation of occupational safety awareness bulletins.

Cooperate with managers and workers to identify potential hazards.

Prepare and prepare reports of inspection and investigation results.
