Responsibilities :


  • Maintain day to day on site direct Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) operational duties that may, yet not exclusively, include: onsite HSSE inspections; assigned investigations (as and when required); assigned audits (as and when required); and general HSSE task observations.
  • Maintain daily onsite liaison with assigned contractors’ HSSE personnel.
  • Regularly evaluate and report on general HSSE performance of assigned contractors.
  • Perform multiple daily site inspections of all assigned duty areas and initiate appropriate actions and conclusions on observations, ensuring that: any unsafe condition or act observed is immediately brought to the attention of the responsible party for rectification; HSSE deviations are recorded and issued to the responsible party on the prescribed formats; and findings are recorded in the applicable HSSE register(s).
  • Collate, record and evaluate all assigned site HSSE data in accordance to sampling results, special surveys, reviews and data recording protocols in place.
  • Promote HSSE in general through preparation and issuing, within the provided document control process in place at the time, awareness posters, HSSE Alerts, relevant training material, etc.
  • Assure conformance to the prescriptions and requirements of the active HSSE management system, review its effectiveness and suggest continual improvement as and when required.
  • Process and review any assigned documents in accordance to the HSSE document control system.
  • Perform all tasks and always act in the company’s best interest as per the service being provided to the client(s), statutory prescriptions and the moral obligations of a dedicated HSSE professional.
  • Remain available to attend duties on a shift or rotational flexible work system, in support of site coverage needs and/or attendance to any emergency call outs, as and when needed.
  • Perform any other HSSE tasks and/or functions, as and when assigned.


Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in NEBOSH IGC is mandatory.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in building, airports, infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software/tools.
  • Valid UAE driver's license is required.
