Responsibilities
As an IT Officer at Rentokil Initial, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure and providing support to our staff. Your responsibilities will include:

Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via IT tickets, email, or in-person.

Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues.

Support Windows, Chrome OS, Microsoft 365, printers, and common business applications.

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.

Create and manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.

Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 or external vendors as required.

Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.

Monitor IT inventory, including hardware and accessories.

Support onboarding/offboarding processes for staff by preparing IT assets and accounts.

Ensure adherence to internal IT policies and data security standards.

Act as a liaison between the IT department, vendors, and other internal departments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2 - 4 years of experience in IT support / IT coordination roles.

Understanding of networking basics, Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and general IT infrastructure.

Familiarity with IT asset management and vendor coordination.

Good knowledge of IT support ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow).

Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation are a plus but not mandatory.

Fluency in English is required.
