Safety Officer

Position : Safety Officer

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors. This includes identifying and mitigating potential hazards, implementing safety policies and procedures, and conducting regular safety audits and training.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

2. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

3. Provide safety training and orientation to employees, visitors, and contractors.

4. Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

5. Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety procedures and best practices.

6. Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and audits.

7. Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, laws, and industry standards.

8. Develop and manage the company's emergency response plan.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

2. Minimum 8 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in construction industry.

3. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, laws, and industry standards.

4. Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
