Safety Officer

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Safety Officer to oversee and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure legal compliance and help build a safety-first culture on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and regulations on-site.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify unsafe practices and potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, including inspection reports, incident logs, and compliance records.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing HSE training to all site personnel and subcontractors.
• Proactively identify safety risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance with UAE legal and statutory HSE requirements.
• Promote and support a strong safety-first culture across all construction sites.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory)
• 2–3 years of proven HSE experience in the UAE construction industry
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety laws, codes, and best practices
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently under pressure
• University degree certificate must be attested by UAE authorities
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
