Safety Officer

Job Summary:
The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of all site operations. This role involves implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, training staff, and minimizing risks to personnel and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
• Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company and legal requirements.
• Liaise with management and regulatory authorities on health and safety matters.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness across all teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Relevant UAE safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably within the UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
