The HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies at the project site. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, company HSE standards, and client requirements while promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities- Safety Management

• Implement company HSE policies and procedures at site
• Conduct daily safety inspections and site audits
• Ensure compliance with PPE usage and safety protocols
• Monitor high-risk activities (work at height, electrical work, lifting operations, excavation, etc.)
• Issue work permits (PTW) as per site requirements

Training & Awareness

• Conduct Safety Induction for new employees and contractors
• Organize Toolbox Talks (TBT) regularly
• Conduct safety awareness campaigns and mock drills

Incident Management

• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• Prepare incident reports and corrective action plans
• Maintain accident records and statutory registers

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with Factories Act / BOCW / Labour Laws (as applicable)
• Maintain safety registers, checklists, and documentation
• Coordinate with client safety officers during inspections
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards

Environmental Management

• Monitor waste management and disposal practices
• Ensure environmental compliance as per project norms
• Promote sustainability initiatives at site

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction / solar project safety standards
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive measures
• Leadership and coordination with site teams

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil preferred)
• Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification (Preferred)

Reporting To

• Project Manager / HSE Manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,272.35 - ₹35,000.00 per month
