SAFETY OFFICER

Job Title: HSE / Safety Officer (Oil & Gas Field)
Location: Sultanate of Oman , SUHAR
Salary Range: OMR 450 – 800 (Based on experience and qualifications)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE / Safety Officer to join our team for ongoing project in OQ in Suhar, Oman. The ideal candidate must be ready to mobilize immediately and have hands-on field experience ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in high-risk industrial environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of proven experience as an HSE / Safety Officer in the Oil & Gas field
• Strong knowledge of PTW (Permit to Work) systems
• Experience in risk assessment, JSA, and toolbox talks
• Familiar with site safety inspections and incident reporting
• Preferably with previous experience working in OQ projects

Mandatory Certifications:

• NEBOSH (IGC or equivalent)
• IOSH (preferred)
• First Aid Certification
• Firefighting Training
• Any other relevant Oil & Gas safety certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and client safety requirements
• Prepare and manage PTW documentation
• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard identification
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Maintain safety records and reports
• Coordinate with client HSE representatives

Skills Required:

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in field conditions
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Immediate availability preferred
