Safety Officer

Hiring: Safety Officer – Ruwais Region, Abu Dhabi

We are currently looking for a Safety Officer UAE Experience for a Labor Camp in Ruwais Region, Abu Dhabi.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience
• NEBOSH Certificate is mandatory
• Experience in handling labor camps will be an advantage

Job Description:

• Plan, organize and control the departments to ensure that the company and the client benefit from the best HSE policies in place.
• Trains employees on safety and health requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct daily inspections of all areas to ensure the implementation of QHSE policies and practices.
• Direct safety, security and firefighting team, to ensure high quality services are delivered to the client.
• Oversees field activities and monitors for health and safety violations.
• Enforces use of safety equipment.
• Monitors decontamination of personnel leaving hazardous work zones.
• Conduct safety audits and inform the management of any prospect of activity development and any potential direct or indirect problem for the company.
• Issues and monitors hot work permits, confined space entries, and lockout/tag out permits.
• Develops and monitors emergency action plans.
• Investigates accidents and prepares accident reports.
• Identifies potential causes for accidents and recommends changes in policies and procedures to prevent accidents and illness.
• Attend safety meetings and present reports to the client and management as per the defined schedules.
• Ensure that each and every employee under his responsibility is fully trained as per the standards laid down.
• Organize and conduct safety training for all staff. Keep and maintain up-to-date records of on-the-job and off-the-job training.
• Assists management to prepare safety and health budget.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Safety Officer - UAE: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• NEBOSH Certificate (Preferred)
