Safety Officer

• Perform all tasks related to the implementation and maintenance of an Integrated (QHSE) Management System and best H&S practices Develop, maintain and review Health and Safety standards and related documentation, based on local regulations, International and AQUA DROPS HSE Standards Develop, maintain and review risk management with the management team Control and report on HSE practices on site (near misses, incident, hazardous situations...) and participate to their improvement Work closely with the other safety officers and in close relationship with the Managers to develop safe and efficient working practices Perform other tasks related to his duties or the general management of the contract On-call duty and out of hours work as required when additional safety support is required.
• Management of Operations and Maintenance work relating to confined space entry and other hazards • Reporting HSE performance on regular basis • Develop and maintain the employees’ safety awareness and competences through day-to-day safety communication, site and work safety supervision & training.
• Personal Attributes • Fluent English (written and spoken) with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills •
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •
• Computer literate with ability to operate Microsoft Office •
• In depth knowledge of OHS/ EHS local and international Codes & Standards •
• Excellent time management and organizational skills •
• Must be a Team player
