Safety Officer

Objective:
To minimize risks, improve workplace organization through 5S, and ensure compliance with HSE and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Requirements:

• Designation: Safety Officer - Only for Saudi Nationalities
• Diploma or Degree in Safety / Engineering or related field
• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH (preferred in Saudi Arabia)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and 5S practices
• 3–5 years of experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sector
• Good knowledge of HSE standards and Saudi regulations
• Strong communication and reporting skills

Role Summary:

Responsible for ensuring a safe and organized work environment by implementing HSE policies, monitoring site activities, and ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations, ISO 9001:2015, and workplace improvement practices like 5S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and unsafe conditions
• Perform risk assessments (RA) and job hazard analysis (JHA)
• Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safety rules on site
• Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and drills
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS)
• Implement and promote 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for workplace organization and safety
• Support internal/external audits and continuous improvement initiatives
