Safety Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Safety Officer for a 3-month temporary assignment to support ongoing project (QAPCO) activities. The role focuses on ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations, monitoring site safety, and minimizing risks during project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures on-site.
• Conduct daily inspections and safety audits.
• Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor ongoing activities to prevent unsafe practices.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure safe work execution.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• NEBOSH IGC (mandatory or preferred).
• Knowledge of construction/geotechnical site safety practices.
• Familiarity with local regulations (Qatar experience preferred).
• Good communication skills in English.

Contract Details

• Duration: 3 Months (Temporary)
• Immediate joining preferred
• Possibility of extension based on project requirements

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
