Job description:
Conducting Risk Assessments: Identifying potential hazards and assessing risks to prevent accidents and injuries.
Developing Safety Policies: Creating and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Training and Education: Providing safety training and education to employees to ensure they understand and follow safety protocols.
Inspecting Workplaces: Regularly inspecting workplaces to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identifying any unsafe conditions.
Investigating Incidents: Investigating accidents and incidents to determine their causes and prevent future occurrences.
Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with all relevant health and safety laws and regulations.
Emergency Preparedness: Developing and implementing emergency response plans and conducting drills to prepare for potential emergencies.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Science or Engineer.
