Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join a plant/oil & gas project in Sohar, Oman. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at the site.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement and monitor site safety procedures and HSE policies
* Conduct daily site inspections and hazard identification
* Ensure compliance with plant/oil & gas safety standards
* Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions
* Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare reports
* Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices
* Coordinate with site teams to maintain a safe working environment
* Maintain HSE documentation and reports

Requirements
* Minimum 8 years of experience in Plant / Oil & Gas industry
* Strong knowledge of HSE standards and procedures
* Experience in site safety supervision and compliance
* Good communication and reporting skills
* Relevant safety certifications preferred
