We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer/ Advisor for our office in SGS Oman.


Job Description


Primary Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure that safety measures are in place and properly maintained.
  • Investigating accidents and incidents to determine their root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Coordinating with management, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance.
  • Maintaining accurate records of safety-related activities, such as inspections, incident reports, and employee training.

Qualifications


Qualifications: -

  • Bachelor's degree HSE Certification NEBOSH IGC OR 1 Year Diploma in Health & Safety.

Experience: -

  • 5 Years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemicals as same role
  • 3 Years in Turn arounds projects
  • 2 Years in GCC
