The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety protocols and statutory regulations at the ELV project site. This includes monitoring daily site activities, conducting safety audits, and coordinating with project teams to mitigate risks.

Requirements

    • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to ELV installations.
    • Conduct daily site inspections and hazard assessments.
    • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of electrical tools and equipment.
    • Maintain safety documentation, incident logs, and compliance records.
    • Coordinate toolbox talks and safety training sessions.
    • Liaise with project managers and subcontractors to ensure safety alignment.
    • Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.

What we Expect from you?

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in construction or ELV related safety roles.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).

What you've got?

  • Familiarity with local safety regulations and electrical safety standards.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage site level safety operations.
