Role Summary

Supports site operations by ensuring safe work practices, compliance with HSE standards, and maintaining a hazard‑free environment across construction projects in the UAE and Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts/conditions.
• Enforce PPE usage and ensure safe work practices at all times.
• Assist in preparing RAMS, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and basic HSE training to workers.
• Report incidents, near misses, and support corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and inspection logs.
• Monitor housekeeping, waste management, and environmental controls.
• Support emergency preparedness, drills, and evacuation procedures.
• Ensure subcontractors follow company HSE rules and site safety requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to resolve safety issues quickly.
• Assist in implementing company HSE policies across UAE and Ethiopia sites.
• Promote safety awareness and contribute to achieving zero‑incident performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Engineering/Safety.
• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH mandatory.
• 3–6 years of experience as a Safety Officer (UAE experience preferred).
• Experience in villa/building projects; ability to work in UAE & Ethiopia.
• Basic knowledge of international HSE standards (OSHA/ISO) is an advantag

Pay: From AED6,500.00 per hour
