Safety Officer (QE or LNG experience Required)

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in LNG projects and a strong understanding of safety standards within QatarEnergy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on site
• Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy safety regulations and procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Safety Officer in LNG projects
• Previous experience working with QatarEnergy is mandatory
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• NEBOSH/IOSH certification required
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and international safety standards
• Excellent communication and reporting skills

Preferred:

• Experience in oil & gas construction or shutdown projects
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and risk management
