Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Safety Officer with an IOSH Certificate to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across our workplace and project sites. The Safety Officer will play a key role in promoting a safe working culture and minimizing risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company safety standards.
• Organize and conduct safety training and toolbox talks for employees.
• Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Support management in fostering a strong safety culture.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• IOSH Managing Safely Certificate (mandatory).
• Additional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) will be an advantage.
• Proven 2 to 3 years work experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar HSE role.
• Good knowledge of risk management and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills:

• Risk assessment and hazard control.
• Safety training and awareness.
• Incident/accident investigation.
• Knowledge of local HSE laws and best practices.
