Safety Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, implementing HSE policies, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a safe working environment across all sites and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness sessions to employees.
• Maintain records of incidents, accidents, and near-miss reports, and prepare safety reports.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Liaise with management, supervisors, and external agencies regarding safety matters.
• Promote a culture of safety within the workplace.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent safety certification (mandatory).
• 3 – 5 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
