Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Safety Officer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with company HSE policies and Saudi regulations, conducting site inspections, and supporting accident prevention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable Saudi regulations.
• Monitor work activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for employees and subcontractors.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and inspection records.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain emergency preparedness.
• Monitor permits to work and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Support project management in achieving HSE objectives and maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Saudi National (Required).
• 1–5 years of experience in construction safety (preferred).
• Knowledge of Saudi occupational health and safety regulations and construction safety standards.
• Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on construction sites and in a fast-paced environment.

• Hazard identification and risk assessment.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
