Safety & Security Inspector

Role Summary

The Safety & Security Inspector will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and enforcing safety and security standards across the project site. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, project-specific safety plans, and international best practices. The inspector will work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain a safe working environment, prevent incidents, and ensure the protection of personnel, assets, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety and security inspections across the project site
  • Monitor compliance with safety procedures, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and security risks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
  • Review contractor safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and emergency plans
  • Support incident investigations, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective and preventive measures
  • Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper implementation of safety and security measures
  • Assist in conducting safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to safety and security activities
  • Support emergency response planning and drills

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or relevant technical qualification in safety, security, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure or building projects
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, security protocols, and construction site practices
  • Experience working on large‑scale or complex developments is preferred
  • Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors
