Home of the F-35 Lightning II, located at Lockheed Aeronautics Fort Worth, Texas, this position will support the Airforce Plant 4 Delivery Operations teams.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead safety and risk management efforts in a high-tempo aviation environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory, company, and military safety standards while supporting aircraft operations and ground support activities. The selected candidate will directly interface with government and senior production representatives in metric reviews, incident investigations, process improvements, and support operations. In addition, the candidate will support the Safety Management System and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You are a multi-faceted teammate able to communicate and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and be flexible to a changing work environment

• Experience with OSHA, incident management / accident investigation, and root cause analysis

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in heavy manufacturing or aerospace industry

• Experience working on and around an active aircraft flightline and working within a represented employee environment

• Masters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering) possession of a recognized EHS credential like ASP/CSP

• Familiarity with ISO 45001:2018

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
