Position:

Proger is looking for a Saudi Safety Supervisor to join its Branch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the job is to be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health and safety standards across construction sites in Saudi Arabia. The role requires a strong technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering, proven site experience and accredited safety certifications. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to ensure compliance with local regulations, international safety standards and Company HSE policies.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and enforce health and safety policies on construction sites.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, project safety plans and international HSE standards.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor adherence to safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions and awareness training for site personnel.
• Prepare safety reports, records and documentation as required.

Key Competencies and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven site experience in Saudi Arabia and accredited safety certifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, accuracy and multitasking skills.
• Good level of English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Saudi National is a mandatory requirement.
