About the Role

We are recruiting a Sage X3 Support Consultant on behalf of our client, a well-established software house based in Muscat, Oman. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ERP professional looking to advance their career in the Gulf region. Full visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support across Sage X3 Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing modules
• Manage and resolve support tickets, perform root-cause analysis, and escalate issues to the Sage partner when required
• Monitor batch tasks, workflows, and system logs to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support WMS–X3 integration issues (receipts, put-away, picking, shipping)
• Review and optimize existing configurations including BOMs, routings, MRP, costing, financial dimensions, and pricing rules
• Configure parameter changes, validation rules, user roles, and workflow adjustments
• Support enhancements to reporting tools including Power BI, ZAP (Sage Data and Analytics), Sage Enterprise Intelligence, and Crystal Reports
• Deliver end-user and super-user training across Finance, Supply Chain, Production, and Warehouse teams
• Maintain SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and functional documentation
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse, and IT teams to translate business needs into system solutions
• Required Skills and Experience
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on Sage X3 support experience in a multi-module environment
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing modules
• Experience supporting WMS integrations (e.g. Datalinx or custom)
• Proficiency with reporting tools: Power BI, Crystal Reports, Sage Enterprise Intelligence, ZAP
• Ability to troubleshoot functional and basic technical issues including scripts, workflows, and queries
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to relocate to Muscat, Oman
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with multi-site or multi-company Sage X3 environments
• Background in farming or dairy industries is a strong advantage
