Department: Municipal- Panama City
Reports to: Municipal Vice President/Regional Manager
Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of Position: Responsible for field sales of municipal services in the North Florida, South Alabama and South Georgia territory. Establish new customers for hydro-excavation, CCTV, and combo jetter services. Key markets related to these industries include construction, civil, engineering, electrical and municipal. Maintain and build relationships with existing customer base in Central and North Alabama territory. Assess customer needs related to hydrovac services, trouble shoot and provide solution Relationship building via visiting jobsites, building relationships with field superintendents, foreman, project estimators. Visit job sites to ensure jobs are being completed successfully and address customer satisfaction. Arrange and conduct sales meetings with customers. Ability to troubleshoot customer needs and introduce services that SIS can offer.

Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Continuously improve through feedback
Must possess a positive working attitude and work as a team player.
Assist in other areas as needed.
Develop and build SIS business.
Other duties as assigned.

Proven work experience as a sales representative
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
BS/BA degree or equivalent
Experience/Education:
BS/BA in Business, Sales or related field preferred, but not required. Minimum 4 years verifiable construction, rental or industrial sales experience. This is a boots on the ground position for someone that is comfortable with visiting construction jobsites and building relationships. Position requires strong follow up skills Must be able to pass a drug test as well as a background check and motor vehicle check.
Specific Licenses: Valid State-issued Driver's License and DOT Health Card required
Work conditions: Industrial setting, outside environment, exposure to extreme temperatures and elements possible; exposure to hazardous chemicals possible; extended periods of standing; climbing; ability to use handheld radio/phone.
