Your Role

As a Sales Account Executive, you are responsible for sourcing, closing, and managing commercial solar opportunities. You will consult with businesses, present tailored solar solutions, and guide prospects through the full sales journey – from the first conversation to signed contracts and project handover.

Key Responsibilities

· Prospect & qualify commercial clients in key industries (manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, agriculture, etc.)

· Engage decision-makers: book and lead discovery meetings (remote or onsite)

· Conduct deep discovery to understand client energy profiles, pain points, and financial goals

· Develop proposals via collaboration with internal design & project teams

· Present proposals strategically, explain financing options, and overcome objections

· Follow up consistently using CRM, calls, and meetings to drive deals to closure

· Close deals and submit handovers.

· Maintain pipeline hygiene, track activity, and collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements

· Proven B2B sales experience (solar, energy, tech, construction, or capital-intensive products preferred)

· Strong commercial acumen and ability to explain ROI, payback periods, and financial models

· Self-driven and entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable with autonomy and commission-only model

· Excellent communication and consultative sales skills

· Familiarity with CRM tools, proposal platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Go High Level, OpenSolar), and remote selling

· Reliable internet, computer, and phone for daily outreach and follow-up

What Success Looks Like

· £1M+ yearly closed revenue ( with base salary and commission)

· On-time CRM updates and full documentation

· Active participation in sales calls, training, and performance check-ins
