Sales Account Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue GrowthOwn and drive the end-to-end sales cycle (prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing).
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across SMB and mid-market clients.Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Client EngagementConduct discovery sessions to understand client business needs and propose suitable cloud solutions.
- Present cloud offerings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution design and delivery.
- Startup Sales Operations
- Help define and improve sales processes, pricing models, and go-to-market strategy.
- Provide market feedback to leadership regarding customer needs, competitors, and trends.
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for management.
- Team & Leadership (as the company grows)Support the hiring, onboarding, and coaching of junior sales team members.
- Set sales KPIs and monitor performance.
- Foster a performance-driven, collaborative sales culture.


Requirements


Key Requirements – Sales Account Manager (Cloud Services)


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales within the cloud services industry, with a strong focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully closing at least three end-to-end cloud deals (AWS) , managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing and post-sales handover.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft cloud solutions (e.g., Azure, Microsoft 365); experience selling Microsoft-related services is mandatory.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written) is a must.
  • Strong client-facing, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • High level of business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

Preferred / Added Advantage


  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or other AWS certifications.
  • Experience in selling multi-cloud or hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
