Job Description
We are seeking a Sales Account Manager for Higher Education who is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing a portfolio of institutional accounts, acquiring new clients, and expanding existing relationships within the university and research ecosystem. You will act as a strategic partner, aligning advanced technology solutions with the digital transformation goals of higher education institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management & Strategic Growth:
- Manage and grow a dedicated portfolio of higher education and research accounts, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, retention, and long term loyalty.
- Proactively identify and execute upsell and cross sell opportunities across a diverse range of technical solutions and infrastructure services.
- New Business Acquisition:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new institutional customers across the UAE to build a robust and healthy sales pipeline aligned with aggressive revenue targets.
- Lead consultative sales conversations to uncover complex institutional needs and align them with advanced digital transformation solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and maintain high level relationships with key decision makers, including University Deans, IT Directors, and Research Department Heads.
- Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring clear communication and the timely resolution of any service or account issues.
- Technical Collaboration:
- Translate complex customer requirements into actionable internal deliverables by collaborating closely with technical, service, and support teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for precise forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking for leadership review.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of sales or account management experience specifically within the EdTech or Higher Education sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship building skills; ability to navigate long government/institutional sales cycles.
- Driving License: Mandatory (UAE license) for frequent client site visits.
