ROLE SUMMARY

The Sales & Accounts Executive will support branch-level sales coordination and manage day-to-day accounting activities. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with sales teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records and smooth sales operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Coordination

  • Prepare and process sales invoices, quotations, and related documentation
  • Coordinate with sales teams on order processing, billing, and follow-ups
  • Track customer payments and monitor outstanding receivables
  • Support preparation of sales reports and basic MIS
  • Communicate with clients regarding invoices, payments, and clarifications

Accounts & Finance

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, vouchers, and ledgers
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support basic cash flow monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations, returns, and related statutory filings
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and external stakeholders as required
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records
  • Provide finance and administrative support at the branch level

Systems & Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Busy Accounting Software (mandatory)
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Exposure to ERP systems; experience with Odoo ERP is an added advantage

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Functional Competencies

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and sales billing processes
  • Knowledge of GST and basic statutory compliance requirements

  • High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently
  • Strong coordination and communication skills with internal teams and clients
  • Practical problem-solving approach and sound professional judgment
  • High standards of integrity, reliability, and accountability

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales coordination and accounting/finance roles
  • Prior experience handling branch-level accounts, billing, and receivables is preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skill set, in accordance with company policies.
