Job Description – Sales Agent (UAE, GCC)

The Sales Agent will drive market penetration, revenue generation, and client relationship management for MENA Speakers in the UAE. This role requires strong knowledge of the sales cycle, client engagement, and proposal management, with a focus on achieving a monthly profit target (after speaker payments and event-related expenses). Commission payouts will be tied directly to profit achievement and deal closures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Knowledge & Alignment: Understand the full sales cycle and organizational services, Familiarize with departmental roles from initiation to delivery.

2. Market Penetration (UAE Focus): Research UAE market trends and secure new business opportunities, Align with the UAE sales team for outreach initiatives.

3. Client & Speaker Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with existing UAE clients and speakers. Monitor and report on client/speaker portfolio health.

4. Client Outreach & Lead Generation

5. Proposals & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate pipeline updates and sales forecasts in CRM.

6. Sales Performance & Profitability: Close a minimum of 5 deals per month or achieve quarterly revenue target. Deliver a monthly net profit as per the actual target.

8. Collections & Payment Follow-up: Ensure 100% client payments are collected on time.

9. Speaker Acquisition & Engagement

11. Professional Conduct & Team Collaboration: Support sales, marketing, and operations teams with alignment and administrative tasks.

Compensation Structure

  • Base Salary: Fixed monthly salary.
  • Commission: Paid based on achievement of profit targets and deal closures.
  • Full commission applies when monthly profit target is met or exceeded.
  • Scaled commission applies for performance below target (to be defined by management).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the events or talent management industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in events management.
  • Strong understanding of the speakers bureau industry, event landscape, and corporate market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and deliver on targets.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems or sales tools to manage leads, contacts, and sales pipeline.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Conditions about this job:

  • You must be fluent in Arabic, English. Any other language will be an added advantage.
  • You must be based in UAE.
  • Visa sponsorship can be considered post successful completion of the trial period. Prior to that, you will be required to self-sponsor your UAE visa/residency/work status.
  • You may also be required to work with client outside UAE and manage their requirements as per the event needs, including the local event requirements on weekends as required.
  • You would be required to source and connect with clients (in person, Zoom meetings).
  • You will be exploring revenue opportunities and closing the same to meet your targets
  • You will be networking at events, sourcing collaborative opportunities to strengthen our brand connect.
  • You would need to have your own car, a valid driving license to cover the transportation requirements for all official business within UAE.
  • This job requires your utmost professionalism, discipline and commitment to work ethics.
  • The candidate must will a Laptop, a working phone with a dedicated office number.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
