Sales Agent – Logistics (Inbound-Focused)
Ravisn LTD is hiring a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) for an inbound-focused sales role within our international logistics and freight forwarding operations. The primary responsibility of this position is to handle inbound inquiries and qualified leads. During periods of low inbound volume, the SDR will also support outbound outreach to maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
This role is ideal for candidates who are confident communicators, well-organized, and interested in building a long-term career in logistics sales and international trade.
Key Responsibilities Inbound Lead Handling
- Handle inbound inquiries from importers, exporters, e-commerce sellers, and SMEs
- Respond promptly to inbound leads received via:
- Calls
- Emails
- LinkedIn messages
- Understand client requirements and provide initial guidance on logistics solutions
- Ensure professional, timely, and accurate communication with all inbound prospects
Qualification & Appointment Setting
- Qualify both inbound and outbound leads using a basic checklist (shipment need, volume, route, timeline, and budget)
- Book meetings or calls for the Sales Manager or Management Team
- Collect basic shipment details (origin, destination, product type, weight/volume)
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records in Google Sheets, HubSpot, or any CRM system
- Update lead status regularly (New, Contacted, Qualified, Meeting Booked, Closed/Lost)
- Submit weekly performance reports (leads handled, qualified prospects, meetings booked, key learnings)
Experience & Background
- Experience:
- 0–1 year (fresh candidates can apply if communication skills are strong)
- 1–2 years preferred in inbound sales, SDR, telesales, customer support, B2B sales, logistics, freight forwarding, or e-commerce
- Language: Good spoken and written English
- Tools: Basic knowledge of Google Sheets / MS Excel (CRM experience is a plus)
Required Skills
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Confidence in handling inbound calls and professional WhatsApp communication
- Ability to switch between inbound handling and outbound outreach when required
- Basic understanding of the sales process and objection handling
- Organized, consistent, and able to follow scripts and SOPs
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic digital tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, e-commerce, or B2B sales
- Experience handling inbound leads and customer inquiries
- Outbound calling or lead generation experience
- Basic understanding of shipping terms (air/sea freight, DDP/DDU, etc.)
