Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Sales Associate with experience in selling kitchen products and design solutions to join our retail team. This role is essential in ensuring that the Company’s sales goals are consistently met or exceeded while providing an exceptional customer experience.
The Sales Associate will play a key role in guiding customers through the kitchen design and purchasing process. You will collaborate closely with Designers and the Operations Team to deliver on the Company’s promise of excellence and customer satisfaction at every stage—from initial consultation through project installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers in a warm, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
- Guide customers through product selections based on their needs, preferences, and project goals.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of kitchen products, cabinetry, appliances, finishes, and design solutions.
- Identify, qualify, and manage leads and sales opportunities.
- Assist in project planning, including space planning, material selections, and quoting.
- Collaborate with Designers and Project Managers to ensure a seamless project flow.
- Visit jobsites as needed for site measurements, walk-throughs, and client meetings.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly to build trust and ensure satisfaction.
- Support the store team in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Ensure proper documentation of customer information and project details in CRM or designated systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized showroom that reflects the Company’s brand standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience in kitchen sales/design.
- Experience is selling kitchen is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in kitchen retail sales, cabinetry, or interior design is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods during shifts.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to travel to job sites for site measures and client meetings.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
