Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences. This role requires proficiency in design software and a keen eye for merchandising, ensuring that each kitchen design maximises both utility and style.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine their kitchen design requirements and preferences.
• Create detailed kitchen layouts using CAD and SketchUp software, ensuring optimal space utilisation.
• Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances to enhance the overall design.
• Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback to refine and finalise designs.
• Assist in upselling additional products or services that complement the kitchen design.
• Maintain an organised portfolio of designs and client communications for reference.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and design techniques to offer innovative solutions.
• Ensure all designs adhere to safety regulations and best practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD and SketchUp for creating detailed kitchen designs.
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to kitchen layouts.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to effectively merchandise designs, showcasing products in an appealing manner.
