North South Freight is a growing heavy haul trucking company looking for a high-level Sales & Dispatch professional who understands both relationship-driven sales and the operational side of trucking.

We are not looking for an order taker.
We are looking for a closer. A communicator. A builder.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced logistics, understands heavy haul regulations and equipment, and wants to play a key role in scaling a transportation company.

What You’ll Do

Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Develop new shipper relationships (construction, grading companies, farms, equipment dealers, auction houses)
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts
  • Actively prospect and close new business opportunities
  • Create long-term strategic partnerships
  • Represent the company professionally in person and over the phone

Dispatch & Operations

  • Coordinate heavy haul loads from pickup to delivery
  • Schedule drivers, equipment, and routing
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, permits, and load securement standards
  • Communicate clearly with drivers and customers throughout the transport process
  • Solve problems quickly and confidently when issues arise

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years high-level sales experience (B2B preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of heavy haul / oversized load trucking
  • Understanding of permits, routing, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in transportation management software (preferred)
