Sales and Marketing Assistant

Podogen Limited is a London based cosmetic brand specialising in hand, foot and nail care. We have recently opened our new office in Nisantasi, Istanbul and building a new team. We create products and solutions that are effective and reliable to keep your feet, hands and nails feeling healthy and beautiful. We have ambitious plans to expand in the region and want to serve both the local and international markets from our new Istanbul office.

Job summary:

The Sales and Marketing Assistant will play a key role in the conception, development and execution of Podogen’s development and expansion efforts. This role will be to create and manage new customer leads, support new campaigns, promote brand experiences and develop client base. This role is for a strategic, creative marketer who has passion for creating best in class experiences, loves beauty and wants to be part of an innovative marketing team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage, create and oversee companies sales and marketing strategies,
  • Communicate and research competitor markets,
  • Build a strong partnership with the development and lab teams to create breakthrough formulas and new products,
  • Contact new customers and sell our products and offerings,
  • Communicate launch plans and strategies to international regions/markets,
  • Manage briefings/relationships with individual customers and corporate clients,
  • Collaborate with Social and Digital team to ensure targets are being achieved,
  • Weekly reports on key performance targets,
  • Manage client communications including social media, online and offline,
  • Daily administration duties in the office.
  • some international travel may be required, therefore passport in a must.

Qualification standards

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 + years’ experience in the cosmetics industry, specifically in sales and marketing
  • Exceptional creativity and innovated spirit
  • Ability to write breakthrough concepts and develop new ideas
  • Product development/formula sensitivity
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently within deadline schedule
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong PowerPoint skills

There is also a competitive bonus payment structure, based on performance in addition to the basic salary each month. Candidates who can demonstrate sales experience and hungry for success should apply.

Some national and international travel will be required.
