Sales and Marketing Executive (Logistics)

Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Client Acquisition:
    • Identify, contact, and develop new business opportunities within the Qatar market for logistics services, including transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding, and inventory management.
  • Service Presentation & Solution Selling:
    • Understand client requirements and present tailored logistics solutions suitable for Qatar-based operations, including fleet options, bonded and non-bonded warehousing, last-mile delivery, and supply chain solutions.
  • Order Management & Coordination:
    • Coordinate closely with operations, warehouse, and transport teams to ensure smooth service execution, accurate order fulfillment, and on-time deliveries across Qatar.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis:
    • Monitor the Qatar logistics market, identify competitor offerings and pricing trends, and provide market insights to support business growth and competitive positioning.
  • Documentation & Compliance Support:
    • Assist in preparing quotations, service contracts, delivery notes, and shipping documents while ensuring compliance with Qatar logistics regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.

Key Competencies:
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge:
    • Basic understanding of transportation modes, warehousing operations, inventory management, and supply chain flow within Qatar and the GCC region.
  • CRM & ERP System Familiarity:
    • Experience or willingness to learn CRM/ERP systems to manage customer data, track shipments, and monitor sales pipelines.
  • Coordination & Multitasking Skills:
    • Ability to handle multiple client accounts, coordinate with internal teams, and resolve service issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail & Documentation Skills:
    • Strong accuracy in handling shipping documents, contracts, delivery notes, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Time Management & Route Planning Awareness:
    • Understanding delivery schedules, transit times, and local route planning to support efficient distribution within Qatar.

Preferred Qualifications (Qatar Market):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of sales or marketing experience in logistics or B2B services in Qatar
  • Knowledge of Qatar customers, industrial areas, and business practices
  • Proficiency in English (Arabic is an added advantage)
  • Valid Qatar driving license
